Here we are, the two most important Rpg softwerehouses are now joining the Microsoft big family. Obsidian: InXile: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Repubblic The Bard's Tale Neverwinter Nights 2 Wasteland 2 Alpha Protocol Torment Tides of Numenera Fallout New Vegas Wasteland 3 (not released yet) South Park Stick of Truth Pillars of Eternity
Tyranny Pillars of Eternity 2
This news have brought both hopes and bad feelings among the fans: on one way these two companies will no longer have to warry about budgets and bad sales dropping their business and in the other hand the concerns about possible negative influences of Microsoft. There is no warries about Wasteland 3 however. InXile will continue developing the game nonetheless. The big problem that still needs to be found a solution, is the method of acquisition of their games from us gamers. Now that they are part of Microsoft, fans now fear that Obsidian and InXile won't be able to launch their games on GoG and Steam.
