The Outer Worlds - News from the creators of Pillars of Eternity and Fallout.

It's no secret that Obsidian is considered a veteran rpg videogame company. In 2019 Obsidian will release The Outer Worlds which is what would appear to be a spiritual sequel to Fallout 3 / Fallout New Vegas, set in space. Roleplay mechanics and gameplay are practically identical to the previous Fallouts but here we are talking about Obsidian, and it is hard to imagine how an expert company can fail to re-imagine what should have been Fallout 4. If you have read the previous news, Obsidian was recently purchased by Microsoft and some speculations regarding the means of acquisition of future Obsidian games are now denied. The Outer Worlds will also be available on PC and on Steam where the dedicated page in the store has just been created. We'll see...
